Description
The BioTac Integration System for the Allegro Hand provides the mechanical and electrical adapters to integrate 4 BioTac sensors into the fingertips of the Allgero Hand from SimLab. The Allegro Hand is a low-cost and highly adaptive robotic hand with four fingers and sixteen independent torque-controlled joints. This is an advanced hand for grasp and manipulation research. The mechanical adapters have been designed to replace the existing fingertips of the hand making installation a simple process. Wiring can be routed to attach the 4 BioTacs to a Multi-BioTac board and a SPI-to-USB device to collect data with a PC.
